I Know A Girl

I know a girl that used to love,
who became the forever,
half of my beauty dove.

who squeezed her way to my heart,
set a flag of dominance on that land of dark.

of course once a night she healed the unheal-able,
tightened the strings to a point unbreakable.

when broken cinemas were assumed for nights,
even sharing a water glass let the firebombs ignite.

I know a girl who was tough,
her mistakes might be much, but they weren't enough.

to leave what she and he deserved,
this path you've taken will end in a curve.

I know a girl who was so strong,
that she forgot she was also wrong.

now I know a boy who wrote this poem for a girl,
how gracefully from the sealing fan his body swings...and swirls.
